IGO organized its 5^th Annual Function at 6.30 PM on 26^th March, 2023 at Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Odishi Research Centre (GKMRC) Auditorium, Xavier Square, Bhubaneswar. Besides members of IGO and their families, dignitaries from other Geoscience Organizations also attended the function. Dr S B Ray, President, IGO presided over the meeting and welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries Sri Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, IAS (Retd.) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.  Four senior most members of IGO were felicitated and a student of Geology of Utkal University securing highest mark in Ore Geology paper (Session 2020-22) was honoured with the 3^rd Dr. Rabi Narayan Mishra Memorial Award.

A colourful cultural programme was also arranged.
